Week Two, Term One
I have loved getting to know every single child in Room 14 over the last few weeks! It has also been great to meet the parents/caregivers too!
This week in Room 14 we have been working really hard! The main focus has been learning to manage ourselves and have high expectations in the work that we do:) So there may be a few tired children by the end of the week as they have all been working sooooo hard on this!
Our swimming programme is underway so make sure you remember your togs! I am taking small groups each time we swim and giving them a lesson.
We are looking at a new inquiry project about the human brain. This was sparked following our discussions and activities last week surrounding our puzzle pieces and working together activities. As a class we have brainstormed what we already know, and what we would really like to know about the brain. We are now at the stage where we are coming up with ideas on how we will go about finding out the answers to our questions! Ask your child what they have in mind!
